What is a selfie-portrait

I love to make things personal&small. I know why. Because then I can see the beauty in people, even when they are having bad times. In my former job I guided people in (big) financial problems. Despite their problems I could still see their most beautiful sides. I love to use this way of looking to people in my art.

This Selfie-project is about Self-love. paying attention to you, where you are now in your life & how you feel about yourself. Reflection. Put that spotlight on yourself for once!

Selfies are not to miss in our modern lives. We make them all the time. Still yourself the way you love to see yourself Or still a very important or emotional moment in your life in a selfie. 



Let me translate your special selfie into art 

What's the process

1. Take your time to make the selfie, no need to rush. no need to put it on your To-Do-List. You will remember it at the right moment and it will take no effort. Enjoy it instead!

2. Then you sent me your selfie. I read your face and translate it into art. 

3. You are never obliged to buy the portrait. I want this project to be available for everyone, so I have different possibilities for you:

 - you can buy the original painting  and I sell Prints of your portrait. 

- you buy a poster in the size you want and the original painting stays with me.

- If you don't want to buy anything, no hard feelings, I am free to Sell your portrait.

I Work in black/white/grey with one color, If you want, then you choose the color. Style is my choice as well as materials.  

What's the value?

The value of this project for you is your precious moment translated into art on your wall. 

The value of this project for me is that I borrow your moment and emotions. We both win.

I Would Like you to know that I work Intuitive. This means that I don't know what I will paint before I start. It's a creative process.

This is different to a normal portrait-painter. I catch your energy and your emotions, which is more important to me then an exact copy of your face.
